A new high level technical program for SMSF professionals launched
The Australian School of Taxation (Atax) at UNSW, in conjunction with the School of Law and the Australian School of Business launched the Master of Taxation and Financial Planning on 2 October at the Sydney offices of the Investment & Financial Services Association.

Atax celebrated its 2000th graduate
Matthew Hardy (MTax `08) was named Atax`s 2000th graduate at the September 2008 Graduation. Professor David Dixon, Dean of the Faculty of Law congratulated Matthew and Atax.

Graduates came from every state across Australia and one travelled from Singapore to attend the Australian School of Taxation graduation ceremony on Monday 5 May 2008.

Report on the Atax Eighth International Tax Administration Conference, Sydney, 26-28 March 2008
The 8th Tax Administration Conference (Safe Harbours and New Horizons) was held at the Marriott Hotel, Circular Quay, Sydney on 26 – 28 March 2008. Over 140 delegates attended from more than 13 different countries.
