Congratulations to our graduates! Australian School of Taxation graduates and their family and friends gathered with staff to celebrate their conferring of awards at the Graduation Ceremony on Friday 21 August 2009.
Chancellor, Mr David Gonski AC welcomed graduates to the ceremony and Professor David Dixon, Dean of the Faculty admitted candidates to awards.
The occasional address was delivered by Christopher Craigie SC, Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, and an alumnus of the Faculty. Mr Craigie congratulated the students on their achievement after years of effort and in closing, offered them some words of advice in their professional lives and wished them long and satisfying careers.
Congratulating all of the graduating students in his concluding remarks, Professor David Dixon, Dean of the Faculty of Law also recognised the role of the students’ lecturers, family and friends and the support they have given over the years.
